Hi guys! Today I'm giving you all a tutorial for a natural and casual makeup look. I personally try to keep my makeup minimal and natural, and most days I wear this look or something similar.
So let's get started!
Step One
First you'll need to cover up any blemishes and imperfections on your skin. You can use a foundation and concealer or just one of the two depending on how much you need to cover up. I usually just use a concealer and leave the foundation out. Also apply a bit of concealer under your eyes and on your eyelids. (this acts as a primer for the eye shadow we will be using later, or you can use a normal primer.)
Step Two
To make sure your foundation/concealer stays all day, set it with a simple translucent powder.
Step Three
Next, contour your face to your liking. I tend to highlight more than contouring but you can contour however you like or even skip this step if you'd like. (Although having a good dewy highlight can really help bring this look together.)
Step Four
Next I used this medium brown shadow from a simple nude pallet (from covergirl). I applied this all over my lid and I also used it to fill in my brows.
Step Five
I then used the color next to the brown we just used. I put this into the crease of my eyelid.
Step Six
This cream white is what I used for a base tone highlight on my brow-bone and inter corner of my eyes.
Step Seven
I then switched pallets to this gold toned one and used this light shimmery color to go over the base highlights on my brow-bone and inner corners.
Step Eight
I used a black eyeliner to tight line my upper lid as close to my lashes as I could get. No wing, just a light amount of this eyeliner. And then I smudged it out with a brush (you can also use your fingers for this)
Step Nine
I then used a nude eyeliner for my waterline. (this is more natural the less harsh than a pure white, but it still makes you look more awake and brightens your eyes a bit.)
Step Ten
Mascara. Not much to say here. Apply it however you like it. You can curl your lashes before hand. I also put on a bit of lip gloss, but you can skip this step if you'd rather.
You're done!
